L is for Little

As each Bright Bug dances above a bloom, magically the flower starts to sway to and fro, following the pattern of the Bug. Soon all of the blossoms are dancing together in a slow motion ballet, and the drone of the bugs is producing a hypnotizing effect on Shasta.
She is lured into the circle and floated up to sit on a large orange mushroom in the middle. Five Bright Bugs surround her, flitting around her head, flying in close to her face. One bug sends its thoughts to her, then buzzes away.
“Shasta of the West Woods, are you ready? Are you ready for the challenge?"

My mother, Karen, wrote a book about Minwings, the little fairies she used to play with when she was a child. We are so extremely lucky to have the talented Mr. Sydney Smith do the illustrations.
J is for Japan

My mother, Karen, is famous in Japan. This trailer played on a billboard in Tokyo for a month.
I imagine there are even tshirts made with her face on them and the words 'What did they call each other?'
-Mom you should update your blog because it's so nice!
